Boys basketball: Seton Catholic 79, Vancouver Christian 35

The Cougars’ defensive pressure set the tone early as Seton Catholic ran away from the Light in Class B Columbia Valley League action.

Seton Catholic led 29-9 by the end of the first quarter.

Evan Sims finished with 23 points for the Cougars. Conor McDaid-O’Neill had 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Danny Kelley scored 19 points for Vancouver Christian.
