Puyallup tribal officer crashes cruiser

PUYALLUP, Wash. (AP) — A Puyallup tribal police officer suffered minor injuries when he crashed his cruiser during a chase.

The Pierce County sheriff’s office says the officer rolled his patrol car Tuesday night after he tried to pull over a reckless driver.

KING reports (http://is.gd/cfjpbN ) the reckless driver slammed into a power pole and then ran away on foot.
