LONDON (AP) — The Canadian women’s gymnastics team has qualified for this summer’s London Olympics.

Canada’s score of 221.913 was the highest of the first five teams in qualifying Wednesday, guaranteeing it will get one of four spots available at the test event at the O2 Arena. France is second with 220.744, followed by Belgium (216.863), Spain (213.054) and the Netherlands (212.061).

Italy, South Korea and Brazil compete later Wednesday.

The United States, Russia, China, Romania, Japan, Australia, Germany and Britain already have earned spots in the 12-team Olympic field, qualifying at last fall’s world gymnastics championships.
