Foundation president named to committee

Lisa Gibert, the Clark College Foundation president and CEO, has been appointed to a national advisory committee with the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. The new committee advises the council and higher education institutions.

Gibert, 51, is a certified public accountant with an MBA from the University of California. She first joined the Clark College Foundation in 1998, serving as the director of finance and administration, chief operating officer and interim president before becoming its president in 2005.

Gibert is also a member of the Vancouver Public Schools management task force.
