Rodgers makes accuracy top priority for Packers

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — For the Green Bay Packers, Sunday’s playoff game against the New York Giants brings up not-so-fond memories of Brett Favre’s interception in overtime that led to an NFC title game loss four years ago.

Ever since then, Aaron Rodgers has been under center and the Packers haven’t had to worry about a quarterback giving the game away with a bad decision or wild throw.

For all of Favre’s brilliant plays and big moments for the Packers, wide receiver Greg Jennings thinks it’s possible that Rodgers spent some of his first three seasons behind Favre learning what not to do.

Rodgers says his focus on turnovers came well before that, back to his freshman year of high school when he threw more interceptions than touchdowns.
