King’s Way Christian 40, Columbia Adventist 39 — The visiting Knights held on to win in a clash between teams that entered the night unbeaten in the Class 1B Columbia Valley League.

In a game marked by tough defense, Carter Coval scored 11 points and Christian Bukant 10 for King’s Way.

Stephen Jardin led Columbia Adventist with 12 points. He scored nine of those on three 3-pointers in the third quarter to help CAA take a one-point lead.

The lead went back and forth in the final quarter, with the Knights taking the lead for good with about 30 seconds left.
