COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio State standout Jared Sullinger blames himself for the fifth-ranked Buckeyes’ most recent loss.
Sullinger says he didn’t hustle or work hard all the time during a loss at Illinois on Tuesday. But he promises to recommit himself and make up for the lapse when the Buckeyes meet No. 7 Indiana in a big rematch on Sunday.
The 6-foot-9 All-American forward said he’s after revenge against the Hoosiers, who beat Ohio State 74-70 on New Year’s Eve.
Coach Thad Matta has been busy trying to shore up the defense, get William Buford back on track offensively and get his team to take better care of the ball.
