Letter: Commit to moral lifestyle

Published: January 14, 2012, 4:00pm

My wife and I are in a “same-sex” marriage and have been for the last four years. We moved here to Vancouver to escape the open-mindedness of the people in Portland. Our marriage was legalized in another state that allows us to carry our freak flag of marital bliss. We cherish the anti-Christian attitudes we encounter from Christians who live here. We are seen as freaks, immoral louts and sick-minded anti-American third-class citizens. To cope with all the tension regarding our same-sex marriage (she is a straight female and I am a straight male) I started a nonprofit website called OCDlove, Our Committed Deviant love. Even the Bible supports our bizarre lifestyle.

To live life to its fullest is to commit to the highest and most moral commander. Presidential candidate Rick Santorum is, in my humble opinion, such.
