LONG BEACH, Calif. (AP) — Casper Ware scored 20 points, T.J. Robinson tied a career high with 19 rebounds, and Long Beach State used a late run and stellar free-throw shooting to beat Pacific 76-66 on Saturday.

Ware hit three 3-pointers, giving him 159 for his career and moving him into fifth place on LBSU’s all-time list. Larry Anderson chipped in 18 points, and Robinson and James Ennis scored 14 apiece for the 49ers (12-6, 5-0 Big West), who won their 17th straight at home and fourth straight against Pacific.

Pacific took its largest lead, 59-53, on a 3-pointer by Fulton with 5:47 to play. LBSU responded with an 11-1 run, fueled by free throws and a Ware four-point play, to take control.

The 49ers were just 17 of 46 (37 percent) from the field but went 35 of 39 (90 percent) from the line.
