DOVER, Del. (AP) — Pina Guillaume made a jumper with 31 seconds left in overtime to help Maryland-Eastern Shore beat Delaware State 63-60 on Saturday night.

The Hawks (4-12, 1-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) led by as many as 12 points early in the second half. But Delaware State rallied and tied the game at 55, sending it into overtime on Marques Oliver’s free throw with 32 seconds left.

Maryland-Eastern Shore trailed 60-59 with 1:42 remaining in OT after Delaware State’s Casey Walker knocked down a 3-pointer. But the Hawks pulled ahead for good on a jumper by Guillaume — his only score of the game.

Ronald Spencer scored 17 points and Percy Woods added 13 for Maryland-Eastern Shore.

Oliver had his second double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Hornets (4-10, 1-2), who lost their seventh straight. Walker led Delaware State with 15 points and Tahj Tate had 13.
