MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin has hired Zach Azzanni as its new wide receivers coach, replacing DelVaughn Alexander.
Azzanni was the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at Western Kentucky last season, and has coached at Florida, Central Michigan, Bowling Green and Valparaiso.
Head coach Bret Bielema is looking to restock his assistant coaching staff after losing offensive coordinator Paul Chryst, who recently took over as the head coach at Pittsburgh. Chryst hired away fellow Badgers assistants Bob Bostad, Dave Huxtable and Joe Rudolph.
Alexander left to become an assistant at Arizona State.
