Aird leads Utah Valley over Saint Mary 98-72

OREM, Utah (AP) — Ben Aird had 18 points to lead six Utah Valley players scoring in double figures in a 98-72 victory against Saint Mary (Kan.) on Monday night.

Holton Hunsaker scored 16 points, Geddes Robinson 15, Isiah Williams 14, Alfonzo Hubbard 13 and Keith Thompson 12 for the Wolverines (10-10), who made 21 of 26 shots from the floor in the second half.

Utah Valley shot 59.3 percent (35 of 59) for the game.

Jeb Greenberg had 13 points and 10 rebounds and Kevin Harvey and Jordan Wilcox added 11 points each for Saint Mary, a NAIA school in Leavenworth, Kan., that classified the game as an exhibition. The Spires’ record remained 14-3.

Robinson had 12 rebounds.
