DALLAS (AP) — Louis Munks scored 22 points and made five 3-pointers to lead Prairie View A&M to an 81-64 victory against Grambling in the Martin Luther King Jr. Basketball Classic on Monday night.

Demondre Chapman added 17 points, Ryan Gesiakowski 12 and Jourdan DeMuynck 11 for the Panthers (7-11, 3-2 Southwestern Athletic), who shot 53.4 percent (31 of 58) from the floor. Prairie View A&M made 11 of 17 attempts from 3-point range.

Quincy Roberts had 34 points, nine rebounds and three steals for the Tigers (3-13, 2-4). Brandon Dorsett added 11 points.

A Munks 3-pointer was the first score, and the Panthers never trailed. Grambling shot 9 of 25 in the first half en route to a 42-29 deficit at the break.

A Dorsett layup cut the deficit to 44-34 early in the second half, but Prairie View A&M scored the next seven points to regain control. The Tigers got no closer than 12 points the rest of the way.
