BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) — Mike Muscala scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Bucknell over Lehigh 68-61 on Wednesday night.

Muscala was 7 of 18 from the field in the battle of the past two Patriot League champions. It was also a meeting of the last two Patriot League Players of the year. Muscala won it last year, while Lehigh’s C.J. McCollum grabbed the honors the year before.

Muscala won the individual contest, as well, on Wednesday as McCollum, averaging a league best 28.3 points per game, finished with 14.

The Bison (14-6, 4-0) led throughout most of the game, but Lehigh pulled within two, 63-61, with 2:43 left. But Bucknell scored the final five points as Lehigh missed all six of its shot attempts.

It’s the sixth straight win for Bucknell and fourth straight against the Mountain Hawks (14-6, 2-2).

John Adams added 10 points for Lehigh.
