RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) — Joshua Jones hit a 3-pointer for Eastern Kentucky’s final points of regulation and the first overtime, and Jaron Jones scored a team-high 20 including the final points of the second OT, in an 86-78 win over Tennessee-Martin Thursday night.

The Jones boys, no relation, kept the Colonels firing all night as Joshua Jones’ sank a 3-pointer with 43 seconds left in regulation to put Eastern Kentucky (11-9, 5-3 Ohio Valley Conference) up 62-58. But a Skyhawks jumper and layup in the final 36 seconds sent it to OT.

Myles Taylor’s free throw put UT-Martin (3-17, 0-7) up 71-68 with 15 seconds to play in the first overtime but another Joshua Jones 3, this one from the top of the key with 6 seconds left, sent the game into a second extra frame.

Jeff Johnson’s 3 sparked a 15-7 run in the second OT to seal it for Eastern Kentucky.
