Devils D Henrik Tallinder sidelined 6-8 weeks

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey Devils defenseman Henrik Tallinder is going to be sidelined six to eight weeks because of a blood clot in his left leg.

Devils general manager Lou Lamoriello released a statement during Thursday night’s game against the Boston Bruins, saying: “Henrik Tallinder has been diagnosed with acute thrombophlebitis of the lower left leg and will be out six to eight weeks.”
