Girls basketball: Mark Morris 63, Woodland 34

The Monarchs were on and the Beavers were off in this battle of first-place teams in the 2A Greater St. Helens League.

Tayler Blackman led a balanced attack for Mark Morris with 13 points. The Monarchs led 30-14 at the half and maintained that intensity throughout the game.

Emily Smith led Woodland with 11 points and six rebounds. Sidra Malik added 10 points.

Woodland was 0 for 14 from 3-point range.
