ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) — Include Me Out took the lead in her first-ever trip around two turns and dashed away from the field in the homestretch to win the $150,000 La Canada Stakes on Sunday at Santa Anita.

Ridden by Joe Talamo for trainer Ron Ellis, Include Me Out was fifth in the field of six 4-year-old fillies early, then went four wide on the turn to get to the front and finished 4 1/4 lengths in front of Great Hot, covering 1 1/16 miles in 1:41.89.

Include Me Out paid $19, $6.40 and $3.40. Great Hot returned $3.60 and $2.40. The favorite, Tiz Flirtatious, paid $2.60 to show.

Owned by Samantha Siegel, Include Me Out earned $90,000 for the win, her third in seven starts, for a career total of $183,600.
