NEW YORK (AP) — Inherit the Gold dominated the $73,500 Haynesfield Stakes at Aqueduct on Sunday, beating Socialsaul by 6 1/4 lengths in the race for New York breds.
The 6-year-old gelding trained by James Hooper and ridden by Junior Alvarado rallied from fourth, surging three-wide at the top of the stretch for his ninth win in 21 starts.
