Camas robotics wins 2 awards

Camas — The Camas Mechanikids robotics team earned two top awards at a recent competition in Hillsboro, Ore. The team took first place for programming and second place for robot performance at the Intel Oregon FIRST Lego League Championship Tournament Jan. 14-15. The RadiSys Programming award recognizes a team that uses outstanding programming principles, including clear, concise and reusable code that allows their robot to perform challenge missions autonomously and consistently. The Rockwell Collins Robot Performance award recognizes teams that score the most points on the 4-foot by 8-foot playing field.
