Jon Kitna to coach football at Tacoma high school

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — Lincoln High School in Tacoma has called a news conference Thursday afternoon with Jon Kitna to introduce the school’s new football coach.

Kitna is a graduate of the school who was recently hired as a math teacher after his 15-year career as an NFL quarterback.

The 39-year-old Kitna received his math education degree at Central Washington University and played for NFL teams in Seattle, Cincinnati, Detroit and Dallas.
