PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Shawn Reid scored 15 points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer with 28 seconds to play, as Montana State beat Portland State 70-65 Thursday night.
Xavier Blount also had 15 points for the Bobcats (11-8, 6-2 Big Sky), who won their fourth straight game. Rod Singleton added 13.
Portland State (10-10, 4-4) got 15 points from Charles Odum, and 11 each from Gary Winston and Michael Harthun.
Montana State trailed 58-43 midway through the second half after the Vikings put together a 22-2 run. The Bobcats answered with a 17-3 run while Portland State went eight minutes without a point.
