Homicide: Man found dead in SUV in Salem, Ore.

SALEM, Ore. (AP) — The Oregon state medical examiner’s office says a young man found slumped over in the driver’s seat of an SUV in northeast Salem is a homicide victim.

On Friday night, the Marion County sheriff’s office identified the victim as 25-year-old Rogelio Hernandez-Davalos. He’s believed to have lived in the Portland area.

No information has been released about how the man died.

The Ford Explorer was found on the shoulder of a local road about 1 a.m. Friday, engine running and emergency flashers activated.
