Boys basketball: Mountain View 70, Hudson’s Bay 56

Defensive pressure in the second half that led to transition baskets helped the Thunder (14-4, 9-1 3A GSHL) pull away.

Zach Torson scored a game-high 29 points for Mountain View. He had 11 in the second quarter and 12 in the fourth. Teammate Taylor Drey added 15 and Luke DuChesne had 12.

TJ Brumfield led Hudson’s Bay in scoring with 17. Jahmile Sipaia had 13 and Ane Sipaia had 11.
