• Darcey Reed has returned to First Independent to manage the bank’s Orchards branch. Reed has 17 years of experience in banking, including four years with First Independent from 1996 to 2000. She is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Clark County.
• Ryan Greear has been promoted to partner at the Vancouver certified public accounting and consulting firm Frumenti, Lander & Wallace. Greear joined the firm in 2003.

• Dan Trisler, a geotechnical engineer, has joined Hart Crowser’s Vancouver office. He has 17 years of experience on transportation and development projects. Sue Sooter, who is a project assistant with 21 years of experience in office administration, has also joined the office. Hart Crowser is a employee-owned environmental engineering consulting firm headquartered in Seattle, with offices in Vancouver, Edmonds and Portland.
• Jane Cullinan has been hired as a vice president of marketing at Blue Bird Moving and Storage, a local family-owned moving and storage firm. Cullinan has worked 25 years in the sales industry. Cullinan will be responsible for local, national and international development. Blue Bird is an interstate agent of Atlas Van Lines, the second largest mover in America.
• Jeff Hamm, who has a master’s degree in urban planning, has been named to the board of directors at the Clark County Historical Society. Hamm has been a general manager/executive director in public transit for a total of 21 years in Port Townsend and now for C-Tran. Also joining the board is Dick Thompson, owner of Thompson & Associates CPA, and co-owner of Thompson Financial Services LLC. He opened his own firm in 1976.

• Dee Metro, owner of Excalibur Limousine Service and Avalon Events at Belltower Cathedral, has opened Metro Wine Bar & Bistro in downtown Ridgefield. The restaurant is in the building formerly occupied by Myrtle’s Tea House at 112 S. Main Ave. The bar and bistro is open 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday; noon to 9 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. • PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Centerhas received a three-year certification of its cardiovascular rehabilitation program by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation programs are designed to help people with heart attacks and other cardiovascular problems as well as those with pulmonary diseases to recover faster and with an improved quality of life.
