BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) — Maurice Barrow had 19 points to pace four Fairfield players in double figures as the Stags cruised past Marist 81-53 on Sunday.

Rakim Sanders added 17 points, while both Derek Needham and Desmond Wade scored 12 apiece for the Stags (11-10, 6-4 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Needham also chipped in a game-high five assists, putting him over 400 for his career.

The Red Foxes led for nearly the entire first half, including a 25-21 advantage with 3:34 before halftime on Devin Price’s layup. But, after a timeout, Ryan Olander hit a pair of free throws and Needham stroked a 3-pointer to spark a 12-1 Fairfield run into intermission for a seven-point lead.

The Stags led the rest of the way, outscoring the Red Foxes 48-27 in the second half to seal it.

Chavaughn Lewis and Manny Thomas scored 10 points each to lead Marist (7-14, 2-8).
