PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Denver Holmes and Ryan Sawvell had the first double-doubles of their careers as Evansville routed Bradley 92-62 on Wednesday night.
Colt Ryan added 24 points and Ned Cox 10 for the Purple Aces (11-11, 6-6 Missouri Valley), who ended a two-game slide.
Holmes tied his career high with 23 points and added a career-best 11 assists. Sawvell, a freshman, had 12 points and 16 rebounds. Sawvell reached a double-double in the first half, when he had 10 points and 11 boards.
Taylor Brown scored 18 points to lead the Braves (6-18, 1-11), who have dropped five straight. Jake Eastman added 11 and Jordan Prosser 10.
