EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Michigan State forward Draymond Green has been diagnosed with a sprained left knee.

Green had an MRI on Wednesday and is listed as day to day. The ninth-ranked Spartans don’t play again until Sunday, when they host No. 23 Michigan.

Green was injured during Tuesday night’s loss at Illinois. He was helped off the court and hobbled through the postgame handshake line.

The senior is averaging 14.9 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.5 steals, 1.1 blocks per game, leading Michigan State in each category. He is second on the team with 3.5 assists per game.
