Stolen truck crashes in Seattle police chase

SEATTLE (AP) — Police say after a woman stole a work truck Tuesday night in north Seattle dispatchers soon received calls the big truck with a lift bucket on top was driving erratically.

When police tried to stop it the driver took off in a chase through Shoreline and back into Seattle with Seattle officers, King County deputies and Washington State Patrol troopers in pursuit.

The truck crashed into a light pole in a parking lot. Police arrested the woman for investigation of drunken driving, auto theft and felony eluding.
