ST. LOUIS (AP) — The plan to improve the Edward Jones Dome and ensure that the Rams stay in St. Louis is due to the team on Wednesday.

The St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission has been working to put together the proposal. The agreement with the Rams calls for the dome to be among the top 25 percent of all stadiums. If not, the Rams could break the lease after the 2014 season.

Owner Stan Kroenke (KRAHN’-kee) has been non-committal about the future of the franchise, creating worry that St. Louis could lose an NFL team for a second time. The Cardinals left for Arizona after the 1987 season.

The CVC and the Rams did not respond to messages seeking comment.
