NEW YORK (AP) — Spain’s 4-0 win over Italy in the European Championship final got a 3.0 overnight rating on ESPN, down from a 3.1 from La Furia Roja’s 1-0 win against Germany in the 2008 final on ABC.

ESPN said that because of a storm that knocked out coverage for a period in Baltimore; Columbus, Ohio; Philadelphia; and Washington, D.C., those markets were not included in the overnight rating Monday.

The game got a 6.5 rating in Miami-Fort Lauderdale (29,763 viewers), a 5.8 in New York (146,687) and a 4.9 in Los Angeles (79,335).

National ratings will be released Tuesday.
