Actor Shepard to throw out first pitch at Comerica

DETROIT (AP) — Actor Dax Shepard will throw out the first pitch Sunday before the Kansas City Royals-Detroit Tigers game at Comerica Park.

Shepard grew up in the Detroit area.

He is in town promoting the upcoming film “Hit and Run,” which he wrote, directed and stars in.

The movie also features Shepard’s significant other Kristen Bell, known for her starring role in The CW’s “Veronica Mars.”

Shepard will host a question-and-answer session later in the day about “Hit and Run” at an area movie theater.
