CLEVELAND (AP) — Nick Hagadone has been moved to the Cleveland Indians’ minor league disqualification list.

General manager Chris Antonetti says Hagadone has a self-inflicted injury to his pitching hand. The injury came after Hagadone had a bad relief outing against Tampa Bay on Friday night.

The left-hander was optioned to Triple-A Columbus on Saturday. The Indians disqualified him on Sunday, and the pitcher will be examined by Dr. Tom Graham at Cleveland Clinic on Monday.

Hagadone’s spot on the Indians’ roster was taken by lefty Scott Barnes, recalled from Columbus. Hagadone will not be paid during the time he is on the disqualified list, though he is eligible to participate in workouts when is able to do so.
