Chicken coop tour offered Saturday

Wondering what all the squawk over backyard chicken keeping is about?

Check out the Coup du Jour 2012 tour, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and find out. The bicycle tour lets participants visit yards in Vancouver at their own pace.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at Mint Tea, 2014 Main St.; Neighbors Market, 1707 Main St.; and Vancouver Food Cooperative, 1002 Main St. On Saturday, maps and tickets can be picked up or purchased at Mint Tea.

Tickets are $5 for an individual and $15 for a family; children 8 and younger are free. Proceeds support the Ryan Woods’ Family and Hough Foundation.
