Letter: Barca outperforms rivals

The Columbian
Published: July 13, 2012, 5:00pm

As a small business owner, I know that, when hiring an employee, he or she must be qualified for the job. Clark County Commissioners earn more than $100,000 annually. As voters, we need to know if they can perform their job and earn this pay.

Ron Barca, who is running in District 1, is by far the best-qualified candidate. He has served on the planning commission, and works for Boeing as a “lean practitioner” making the company efficient and profitable. He could be a real asset to the way our county is managed.

The other candidates can’t compare to the knowledge that he can bring to the commission.
