MILAN (AP) — AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reached a deal to join Paris Saint-Germain.
Ibrahimovic’s agent, Mino Raiola, has been in talks with PSG for several days and said Tuesday he finally has an agreement. The team confirmed it, with sporting director Leonardo adding: “He will have his medical (exam) and then we hope everything will go well with signing the contract.”
PSG has called a news conference for 3 p.m. local time.
Ibrahimovic will be the Ligue 1 club’s third major signing of the summer, following the arrivals of former AC Milan teammate Thiago Silva and Napoli’s Ezequiel Lavezzi.
PSG has paid a reported $25 million for Ibrahimovic, taking its summer spending on the trio to an estimated $123 million.
