BAGNERES-DE-LUCHON, France (AP) — BMC rider Michael Schar suffered minor cuts on his right knee after colliding with the Tour de France doctor’s car.

BMC team doctor Max Testa says one of Schar’s elbows looks swollen and would be examined at the team hotel late Thursday.

Another BMC rider Stephen Cummings crashed after the feed zone during Thursday’s stage and has pain in his left hip that also requires evaluation, Testa said.

Schar and Cummings are support riders for defending Tour de France champion Cadel Evans.
