Lillard, Leonard lead Trail Blazers past Hawks

Damian Lillard had 31 points and seven assists to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to an 84-78 victory over the Atlanta Hawks in NBA Summer League play at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas.

Meyers Leonard, Portland’s other first-round draft pick, had nine points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Will Barton scored 14 points and Luke Babbitt added 10 for the Blazers.

Mike Scott scored 14 points and John Jenkins added 13 in a balanced attack for the Hawks.

Portland (2-1) faces Denver at 3 p.m. today and Miami at 1 p.m. Saturday to conclude Summer League play.
