Merrill Lynch embezzler now faces bankruptcy woes

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A Connecticut native who embezzled $43 million from Merrill Lynch a dozen years ago is back in business as an investment company managing partner and running other firms with multimillion-dollar deals.

But court documents show Norwich native Daniel Gordon remains mired in a bankruptcy case he filed in New York three years ago that includes fraud allegations by his ex-wife, Laura Gordon, and pro basketball player Eddy Curry.
