17th District Senate race: State Senate candidate Rep. Tim Probst, D-Vancouver, will hold a fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Red Cross Building, E.B. Hamilton Hall, 605 Barnes Road. The event is being hosted by a number of political figures, including former state Rep. Val Ogden and former Vancouver Mayor Royce Pollard.
