CLERMONT, Ind. (AP) — Frank Kimmel snapped a 75-race ARCA Racing Series winless streak dating to 2008, racing to his 75th series victory Friday night at Lucas Oil Raceway.

The 50-year-old Indiana driver, a record nine-time series champion, pulled away off a restart with three laps left on the 0.686-mile track. He moved within four of tying Iggy Katona for the ARCA victory mark.

“What a great night,” Kimmel said. “What a great car.”

Tom Hessert was second in the 200-lap race.
