ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — White Sox center fielder Alejandro De Aza has left Chicago’s game against the Rangers after a scary collision with shortstop Alexei Ramirez in the seventh inning Friday night.

De Aza and Ramirez were chasing a pop fly hit by Texas’ Craig Gentry when they slammed into each other in shallow center.

The medical staff examined De Aza’s left wrist for several minutes before he was replaced by Jordan Danks. Ramirez stayed in the game.

De Aza hit a two-run single that gave Chicago a 5-4 lead in the fourth.
