A 32-year-old woman sustained multiple non-life threatening cuts after walking through a glass window at a Ridgefield bank.

The incident happened about 11:30 a.m. at Sterling Bank, 228 N. Simmons St. Ridgefield police and Clark County Fire & Rescue responded.

The woman mistook the window for a door, said Battalion Chief Tim Dawdy, Fire & Rescue spokesman. She stuck her hand out and walked through the door at full speed, he said.

Firefighters treated her cuts. She drove herself from the scene.

The bank employees were very surprised, Dawdy said.
