Sports, celebrity items part of collectibles sale

Autographed sports and celebrity memorabilia from the private collection of nationally known collector Ron Zollo will be available for purchase at the Clark County Historical Museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 9.

Zollo, a Vancouver native, has been collecting celebrity autographs and memorabilia for more than 30 years.

This sale will include sports memorabilia autographed by Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Michael Jordan, Walter Payton, Peyton Manning, Muhammad Ali, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Ben Hogan and Wayne Gretzky.

Film and music celebrities include Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Elizabeth Taylor, James Stewart, Dean Martin, Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger, Little Richard and Van Halen.

A letter of authenticity will accompany each purchase. Half the proceeds will go to the museum.

Purchase will be by cash or credit/debit cards only.

All sales will be final.

The event will include free admission all day to the museum, 1511 Main St.

All items are owned and offered by a private collector and are not now nor have ever been property of the Clark County Historical Society.
