LOS ANGELES (AP) — Jeff Gelalich homered twice and had four RBIs to lead UCLA to a 13-5 victory over Creighton in the championship game of the Los Angeles Regional on Sunday night.

The Bruins (45-14) advanced to the best-of-three super regionals beginning next Friday. UCLA will play the winner of the TCU/Ole Miss series.

Gelalich hit his 10th home run of the season — a two-run shot — deep over the right-field fence to tie the score at 2 in the first. Gelalich, who had three hits and walked twice, drilled a solo shot in the fifth.

Trevor Brown’s two-run single and Pat Valaika’s suicide-squeeze bunt highlighted a five-run third inning that propelled UCLA to a 7-2 lead.

Zack Weiss (3-2) pitched five innings and earned the win. Nick Musec (3-4) took the loss, and Anthony Bemboom had five hits for the Bluejays (28-30).
