SAN DIEGO (AP) — The San Diego Padres have activated utilityman Logan Forsythe from the 60-day disabled list and outfielder Mark Kotsay from the 15-day DL on Sunday.

Forsythe has been out since March 26 with a broken left foot. Kotsay went on the DL May 19 with a lower back strain.

The Padres also placed utilityman Andy Parrino on the 15-day DL with a sore right wrist and optioned rookie catcher Yasmani Grandal to Triple-A Tucson.

Parrino was batting .176 with one home run and three RBIs in 39 games, including 24 starts. Grandal was recalled from Tucson on Friday. He made his major-league debut as a defensive replacement in Saturday’s game against Arizona and flied out in his only at-bat.
