LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. (AP) — A 41-year-old man has been accused of killing his mother and nephew in a home just outside Lake Oswego.

The Oregonian reports (http://bit.ly/KakSAb ) 41-year-old Adrien Graham Wallace faces two counts of aggravated murder and is being held under suicide watch.

He is accused of shooting 71-year-old Saundra Sue Wallace and 16-year-old Nicolas Brian Juarez with a hunting rifle.

The Clackamas County sheriff’s office says in a court document that Wallace confessed to a detective that he shot both in the face, killing them “as they tried to leave.”

Deputies haven’t described a motive but expect to release more information later Tuesday.

Neighbors in the unincorporated area called about the shootings Monday evening. Deputies say Wallace was arrested without a struggle.

He is to appear in court Tuesday afternoon.
