Boys & Girls Clubs offer summer meals

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington are once again hosting the federal government’s Simplified Summer Food Program for Children. Meals will be available at no charge to all children 18 or younger. Children don’t have to be club members to participate. All programs run Monday through Friday, June 25 through Aug. 24, with no service on the July 4 holiday.

Sites and schedules are:

• Clinton and Gloria John Club, 409 N.E. Anderson Road: breakfast and snack, 8:30 to 9 a.m. and 3 to 3:30 p.m.

• O.K. Clubhouse & Teen Turf Club, 4040 Plomondon Road; snack, 3 to 3:30 p.m.

• Hazel Dell Elementary School, 511 N.E. Anderson St.: lunch, noon to 12:45 p.m.

• Roosevelt Elementary School, 2921 Falk Road: breakfast and lunch, 8:30 to 9 a.m. and noon to 12:45 p.m.
