Vancouver Farmers Market offers $5,000 in scholarships

The Vancouver Farmers Market is offering $5,000 in scholarship money to post-secondary students for the 2012-2013 academic year. The money is intended to support the education of students specializing in agriculture, agricultural marketing and related topics, and to encourage small-scale farming in the Pacific Northwest and the sale of farm products.

Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. June 30. Applicants must include their most recent high school or college transcript. The application form is available at Vancouver Farmers Market.
