PHOENIX (AP) — Miguel Montero hit his second career grand slam and the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Oakland Athletics 8-3 on Saturday night for their fourth consecutive victory.

Trevor Cahill outpitched the Athletics’ Jarrod Parker (2-3) in a matchup of starters traded for each other last offseason. Jason Kubel had a pair of RBI singles, Justin Upton doubled in a run and Paul Goldschmidt extended his hitting streak to 16 games for the Diamondbacks, who have scored 33 runs in their four-game streak.

Cahill (4-5), coming off a shutout against San Diego, gave up two runs and seven hits in 7 1-3 innings. He had a season-high seven strikeouts and walked three.
